Let's Get Disaster Ready

The recent fires in LA have highlighted the urgent need for emergency preparedness. Record low rainfall, Santa Ana winds, and warming temperatures—fueled by climate change—have contributed to devastating disasters. The “Let’s Get Disaster Ready” Program empowers Orange County residents to take proactive steps to protect themselves, their families, and their community. By preparing emergency plans and kits, and fostering neighborly connections, we can build resilience and face emergencies together.

Build a resilient community.

The Let's Get Disaster Ready Program equips participants with essential knowledge and tools to prepare for emergencies and build community resilience. Topics include:

    •    What is resilience?

    •    Build Your Kit.

    •    Make a Plan.
