On October 25, 2025, over 70 passionate youth attended the 2nd Youth Summit organized by Cool OC, Etosha, and several other partners.
On October 25, 2025, over 70 passionate youth attended the 2nd Youth Summit organized by Cool OC, Etosha, and several other partners.
Attendees had the chance to hear from renowned speakers Councilwoman Melinda Liu, Climate Scientist and Councilwoman Kathleen Treseder, UNAOC President Dave Rice, Officer Alan Fong, OCPA CEO Joe Mosca, and Central OC Landfill Manager David Tieu. The summit included youth climate speakers, who shared their innovative solutions and passionate calls to action. Their insights provided a deeper understanding of the complexities of climate science, policy, and town efforts.
The ICITY Youth Climate Summit, supported by Cool OC, showcases the growing commitment within our community to empower international and transnational youth with the knowledge and tools they need to become effective climate stewards.
